Posters are great attention-getters for advertising special events, elections, fundraisers, point-of-purchase displays, sales promotions, marketing and generalized promoting. They are large format printed advertisements. There are many different options and media available today for large format printing. Single color through multicolor, posters can be printed with traditional ink on paper (offset printing), toner onto paper or decals (digital printing), or onto heavy poster board(s) or plastic (screen printed). The material used and quantity desired will dictate the printing technique used. It is also very important to know if the poster has indoor or outdoor use.
For larger quantities, offset printing is available and is recommended for the best pricing per piece. The only limitation with offset printing is size. The largest offset poster is up to 40" with size limitations. For shorter runs, digital printing, screen printing and wide format are available. These techniques can be used to produce posters of any size, small or very large. As the poster gets larger, screen printing is not as economical as our wide format outputs. These too can be mounted as well with up to 5' x 10' capabilities. Larger than 4' we recommend flex banner material which can be seen priced in our sign section; they are the "ultimate poster" and are also known as billboards.

Should your posters be exposed to the elements of weather, lamination is a consideration after digital printing or offset printing. Laminating is most economical in smaller quantities. Screen printing and digital printing with outdoor inks right onto durable decals or plastic materials are best for greater volume and maximum outdoor effectiveness. This process will also offset the need for lamination. This outdoor decal mounted to the material of your choice makes a very durable poster.
